Charlie Vee was born in a tough Brooklyn neighborhood, witnessing violence and tragedy, with little resources. He was raised by two loving parents along with three other siblings. Life wasn’t easy, but his parents managed to put them through private school. From first to twelfth grade, he wasn’t the best student, but he also wasn’t the worst. Just up until his last year in high school, where he barely graduated, he had one foot in the streets and the other trying to make something of himself. He finally started working in a jewelry trade as an apprentice for handmade gold and platinum rings. He worked that for about a year until he joined the US Marine Corps. After being injured, he was medically discharged and went back to the jewelry trade. He worked about eleven years at that when he finally went back to school. He graduated with an associate’s degree in applied science from the Borough of Manhattan Community College. Then, he went on to Brooklyn College where he majored in film production but was eight or ten credits shy of graduating. Then, his son was born, so he chose to raise him. At the present time, he is going to enroll and finish his BA in film. His ultimate goal is to make at least one major motion picture.
